Aker Solutions E&C Ltd is pleased to announce that we have been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award 2008 for the 6th consecutive year. Dave Ley, President commented that this achievement highlights our continuous commitment to Health & Safety as one of our core values.

ACKtiv Nuclear a joint venture company with Aker Solutions, Atkins and Carillion which is based in our Westlakes office in Cumbria has also been awarded the RoSPA Gold Award 2008, demonstrating our commitment and drive to Health & Safety excellence across all of our business activities. Andy Leigh, Associate Director for our nuclear business said," this consecutive award of the gold medal to ACKtiv Nuclear is a tremendous achievement and recognition of the excellent work our team has executed at Sellafield."

The RoSPA awards are not just about reducing the number of accidents and cases of ill-health at work; they help to ensure that organisations have good health and safety management systems in place.
